2025-06-25 - Fuscripts

Today I want to enable some basic analytics to my apps.

I decided to use posthog.com. It has a nice free tier and I’ve seen a friend using it in a past project, which worked nicely.

Plus, how cute is this?

Setup seems simple. I want to see what kind of events I get out of the box and also setup a few custom ones. Should be quick.

Implemented a POC what works. But when I saw the amount of data it collects by default, I remembered him…

That made me think how I would want this experience to be. I don’t want to capture information blindly. So I’ll pause this idea for now until I think more about it and design a user experience that is true to the value of fuscripts.
